He told the Transfer Window Podcast: “Aubameyang himself, is not, I understand, unwilling to move club, especially with the interest from China, where as we know from the Rafa Benitez situation, cash is still plentiful and he can still go there and make a huge amount in terms of what he’s currently paid by Arsenal.
“Aubameyang is one they’ve marketed to several clubs in Europe - including Bayern Munich.
“He was joint top-scorer in the Premier League last season, clearly Arsenal see him as someone who at the age of 30 could probably increase the profit that they spent on buying him from Borussia Dortmund.
“In doing so they will enrich their transfer funds.”

And though the 18-year-old wouldn’t have put too much of a dent in Unai Emery’s transfer budget, the Spaniard will be keen to increase his pot.
The slow start to the transfer window has left Arsenal hero Nigel Winterburn worried about the lack of progress being made by his former club.
"I feel the Arsenal squad really needs a good shake-up," Winterburn said.

"Slightly worried about the situation with the amount of money available to spend, and depending on Unai Emery’s situation - whether he wants to go to a back four, if he does Tierney would be a good addition.
"He can also play wing-back so he gives you that option as well.
"Rather than looking at individual players, I’m interested to see who ends up at the club when pre-season comes around and what they can do.
"It is a bit worrying at the moment because we seem to be linked with quite a few players, but there’s nothing happening at the moment."
