There are only around eight weeks until the new Premier League season gets underway, meaning time is of the essence for clubs looking to carry out their summer business before a ball is kicked. Manchester United have already agreed to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson, who is set to officially complete his move to Old Trafford after the World Cup. They have been linked with several other big-name players as Michael Carrick looks to rebuild the playing squad ahead of his first full season in charge.

Arsenal, meanwhile, will be hoping to strengthen their ranks in order to boost their chances of defending their Premier League crown. The likes of Morgan Rogers, Julian Alvarez and Ayyoub Bouaddi have been mentioned in connection with the Gunners in recent weeks. Over at Liverpool, a nine-figure move for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande remains a possibility, although the Reds are yet to find a breakthrough in negotiations with the German heavyweights.
