Premier League winter break 2019/20 dates confirmed: When your club will have a rest
THE PREMIER LEAGUE is set to trial a winter break this season for the very first time - but when will YOUR team skip a weekend?
Most other European leagues have a break over the winter and now the English top-flight has followed suit.
Fans were fearful that it may disrupt the congested festive period which supporters have traditionally loved.

But those concerns are eased as a two-week gap has been left in February to allow players to recover for the final push of the season.
The weekend of February 15-16 is vacant, which indicates that weekend be free from matches.
There are no FA Cup rounds or international breaks planned for said weekend.
However, when the FA announced a winter break last year they revealed 10 teams would play one weekend and 10 the next - meaning some football was played every weekend.
But initial fixture list indicates all teams will now take a winter break simultaneous.
The fixtures are subject to change and five matches could well move to the free weekend.
Speaking at the announcement of the change last year, Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said: “It’s all come together at a nice time and it’s now definite.
"We will have this split weekend and we are calling it a ‘mid-season player break’. We’re not calling it a winter break. Why is that? Because we’re not breaking.
“We’re playing five games one week and five the other. I think that’s positive I think it’s good for English football.
"I have to compliment (former FA chief executive) Martin Glenn, he doesn’t see anything other than a successful Premier League as being good for English football.”
