MANCHESTER UNITED are making a mega money transfer bid for long-term target Kalidou Koulibaly, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to kickstart his squad revamp at Old Trafford.

But, United may face competition for Koulibaly’s signature, it’s been revealed.
Maurizio Sarri has reportedly made the Napoli defender his number one target after becoming Juventus boss, it’s been claimed.
Sarri had a good working relationship with Koulibaly when he was at Napoli, and it’s believed that could persuade him to move to Turin.
Juventus are also looking for a new centre-back, after Andrea Barzagli announced he’s leaving The Old Lady at the end of the season.

Napoli have set Koulibaly’s price tag at €150m (£133m), and are likely to reject United’s offer.
Solskjaer is prepping for a long summer of transfer activity after the club’s sixth place finish in the Premier League last season.
They’ve been linked with a host of defenders, including Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt, Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Paris Saint-Germain’s Thomas Meunier.
Harry Maguire has also been cleared for a move to Old Trafford after Leicester said they’d let him leave this summer, it’s been claimed.

United tried to sign the England international last summer, but the deal fell eventually fell through.
Now the club are without Champions League football next season, and that could pave the way for a switch to Manchester City instead.
It’s believed that the Etihad is now his most likely destination.
