Liverpool: Klopp 'we were crying after Champions League win'
Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final on a chastening night for the Reds in Kiev.
The Merseyside giants saw talisman Mohamed Salah hobble off early on after an altercation with Sergio Ramos.
The game then went south for Liverpool, with a brace from Gareth Bale and goal from Karim Benzema gifting Real Madrid the prize. Goalkeeper Loris Karius made two mistakes and, ultimately, would move on.
Fast-forward to now, however, and the Reds have exorcised the demons of their experience in Ukraine a year ago.

"But nobody thought in that moment that it would happen.
"In that moment it was only to lift our mood a little bit, but now it happened. We have to think about what we'll sing tonight because it means something."
Klopp and Liverpool players were heard singing the song in the aftermath of the Tottenham win.
And it looks set to be an anthem as the club aim to win the Champions League again next season.
Klopp believes the triumph is just the start, saying: "The emotion...that’s my main feeling; it’s overwhelming, all that stuff.
“It feels really good but I’m much calmer than I thought I would be when it finally happened, so it was not important to me to touch the cup or whatever.
"There will be a moment when I’m completely overwhelmed for myself, maybe.
“But, look at my coaches, what we all did during the year to try to take the next steps when we started in Evian in the training camps, bringing in these players and knowing they need time.
“But we have to win football games from the start, and all that stuff.
“This group, and I said it, this is only the start for this group.”
