However, he says the Spaniard’s movement off the ball and defensive work-rate means he should play ahead of the Brazilian.
“The goals, his movement off the ball [is why Pedro should play],” Gudjohnsen said on BT Sport.
“I always feel that when Willian and Hazard play, they both like the ball to feet.
“Whereas Pedro comes short, looks in behind, and just gives them an extra dimension going forward.

“He’s better in his running off a player like [Olivier] Giroud that holds the ball up, or to run onto flick ons from Giroud.
“That’s why I think Pedro will play.
“He’s very disciplined in his defensive work as well.
“While he might not have that extra bit of skill or [the ability] to do something out of nothing like Willian does, I do feel he is a player you can trust more.”

N’Golo Kante is a big injury doubt for the Arsenal clash.
Gudjohnsen says Ross Barkley is likely to get the nod if the Frenchman is not available to start.
“He is slightly forced into the changes that we’ve seen from recent weeks,” Gudjohnsen said.
“[Antonio] Rudiger injured, [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek injured and Kante is probably a 50-50. [Ross Barkley will play] will be my prediction yes if Kante is out, we’ll put Ross Barkley in there.”
