Liverpool midfielder confirms he’s open to £25m transfer ahead of Champions League final
LIVERPOOL midfielder Harry Wilson has revealed he’s open to leaving the club on a permanent basis this summer.
Liverpool: Frank Lampard addresses Harry Wilson's future
Wilson, 22, has spent the duration of the 2018-19 season on loan at Derby County.
The Wales international has been a revelation for the Rams and played a pivotal role in them reaching the Championship playoff final, scoring 18 goals and picking up six assists.
It’s understood Derby boss Frank Lampard is keen on making Wilson’s loan move a permanent one this summer.
And should Liverpool once again deem him to be surplus to requirements, he’s more than happy to permanently move to Pride Park
"Obviously, every player wants to play at the top level - and the Premier League is the best league in the world," Wilson told Derbyshire Live.
"So if I could do that with Derby, it would be great, and we've got a great opportunity to do that.
"Like I said, in the summer is when I'll sit down and discuss my options.
"But for now, I'm just doing all I can to make sure that I do have that option - of playing in the Premier League with Derby come next season."

Liverpool are reportedly willing to part company with Wilson if they receive an offer in the region of £25million.
Wilson isn’t paying attention to his supposed price-tag, saying: “I’ve seen a lot of reports. I’m on social media and I saw the story break the other day.
"But I'm just concentrating on the final on Monday. I think it would be stupid of me to be thinking about anything else, because I know what a special thing we can achieve.
"So that's got my full focus and in the summer, that's when we'll sit down and talk about my future."
Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Wilson’s progress this campaign but the midfielder isn’t concerned about Jurgen Klopp’s thoughts on his loan spell.
He said: “There's a loan guy, Jules [Julian Ward] that I keep in regular contact with, and he comes to some of the games. I speak to him and he feeds back to the manager at Liverpool [Jurgen Klopp]. So I'm in regular contact but my full focus is on Monday."
Derby County play Aston Villa in the Championship playoff final at Wembley Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Liverpool, meanwhile, take on their Premier League rivals Tottenham in the Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday evening.
