Lionel Messi: Barcelona star TROLLED with hilarious Lucas Leiva clip after Liverpool loss
LIONEL MESSI had a night to forget in the second leg of Barcelona’s Champions League semi-final against Liverpool and former Premier League star Jonathan Walters revelled in it.
Barcelona suffered a 4-0 defeat to the Merseysiders last night at Anfield, a loss which saw them lose the tie 4-3 on aggregate.
Unlike last week's first leg in Barcelona, in which he scored a brace, Lionel Messi was unable to inspire his Barca team-mates to victory.
The diminutive Argentine was on the receiving end of some rough treatment from Liverpool players, in particular Andy Robertson.
Early on in the match, Robertson pushed a downed Messi in the head as jogged to get back into position, an incident which went unpunished by the referee.
The clip soon started doing the rounds on social media, with many wondering if the Scot should’ve been given his marching orders.
Edited versions of the incident were soon shared moments after the final whistle, including one from former Stoke City striker Walters.
But Walters’ version included an edit which would’ve endeared himself to Liverpool fans.
Seconds after Messi is shoved by Robertson, Walters' video fades into a clip of former Reds midfielder Lucas Leiva saying ‘unlucky’ multiple times.

The video’s accompanying caption read: “All @LFC fans right now @FCBarcelona #LIVBAR #LFC.”
Walters’ tweet will almost certainly rile the Blue half of Merseyside as he’s a staunch Everton fan.
However, he’s probably already in their bad books after backing Jurgen Klopp’s troops to win the Premier League earlier this season.
“I grew up an Everton fan, but I would rather Liverpool win the title than Manchester City,” Walter said during an appearance on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
“I quite enjoy what Klopp brings to Liverpool, the way Liverpool play and what they’ve done over the last couple of years. I quite enjoy watching them.
“Saying that, I do like Man City, but being from the city of Liverpool I would rather Liverpool win the league than Man City.”
Liverpool will be back in action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Wolves to Anfield.
They'll then play the winner of Ajax vs Tottenham - which takes place this evening - in the Champions League final on June 1.
