The two deals Man Utd have been hampered from doing because of Alexis Sanchez
MANCHESTER UNITED flop Alexis Sanchez has hampered the club's attempts to tie David de Gea and Ander Herrera to new deals.
Express Sport understands Alexis Sanchez' hefty contract - worth almost £500,000-a-week - has caused divisions in the dressing room.
The likes of David de Gea and Herrera have seen the big package Manchester United have handed to Sanchez and they believe it shows they aren't earning enough.
It's led to a situation where Herrera is set to go - PSG are poised to complete a deal for him - while De Gea is going into the final 12 months of his current contract.
If a resolution isn't forthcoming, United could lose one of the best goalkeepers on the planet, for nothing, next summer. Free-transfer experts Juventus are keeping tabs.
It now looks likely that Sanchez has played his last game for United.
The Chilean flop was handed a rare start in United's woeful 1-1 draw at Huddersfield on Sunday.
But he failed to last an hour before being hauled off with an ankle problem - and could be seen limping down the tunnel looking thoroughly dejected.
It is understood Sanchez has strained ligaments and is not expected to be in contention for this weekend's final game of the season at home to Cardiff.
With Manchester United desperate to sell him this summer, it means he might not be seen in the famous red shirt ever again.
Sanchez has been a huge disappointment since joining United from Arsenal on a free transfer in 2018.
Despite being handed a contract worth almost £500,000-a-week, including bonuses, Sanchez has failed to hold down a regular place in the side under both Jose Mourinho and now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He has scored just three goals and spent long spells on the sidelines injured.
United are keen to sell him to the highest bidder this summer and are even willing to finance some of his wages just to get him off the books.
