Luka Jovic received plenty of attention ahead of the semi-final against Chelsea following his breakthrough season with the Bundesliga outfit.
And it didn’t take the Serbia international long to make his mark on the tie, scoring a goal which fully justified the hype surrounding his name.
Filip Kostic went steaming down the left side before delivering a flat cross into the box which seemed to be slightly behind Jovic.
But the red-hot finisher was quick to adjust his body and guided a beautifully timed header in past Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga off the base of the post.
Jovic extended his run of scoring against every opponent he has faced in the Europa League this season.
Chelsea are now the latest victims, joining Marseille, Lazio, Appollon Limassol, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan and Benfica.
Chelsea fans were so impressed by the goal, they took to social media to order their club to sign the striker.
“Jovic scored. Sign him, @ChelseaFC,” one fan tweeted.
Another added: “If Sarri didn't just write 'Sign Jovic' on his notepad, he was wasting ink.”
A third tweeted: “What a header from Jovic, that’s why we all want to sign him so badly.”
A fourth Chelsea fan was shocked at how old the deadly finisher is: “#1 let’s sign Jovic immediately I had no idea he was 21.”
But it wasn’t just Blues fans who wanted a deal done.

While one Liverpool supporter said: “We need to sign Jovic up this summer.”
In fact, fans from all of Europe’s top clubs were impressed with the cute header.
Another added: “You know what to do @FCBayern #signjovic.”
While one Manchester City fan dreamed of seeing the striker at the Etihad Stadium next season: “Sign Jovic please @ManCity.”
