Arsenal legend Ray Parlour believes that the Gunners have such little hope of finishing in the top four that they need to go all out to win the Europa League.
Unai Emery's side were in a good position to seal a return to Champions League football with their league position earlier this month.
However, three consecutive league defeats have left them two points behind fourth-place Chelsea with two games to go.
“It’s been a disaster, an absolute disaster for Arsenal,” Parlour told talkSPORT on Monday.
“Their away form has been horrendous and they just haven’t been at the races in their last three games.”
Arsenal have impressed at home in the Premier League under Emery, winning 14 of their 18 fixtures, losing just twice - but losing eight away games has cost them.
After their win over Watford on April 18 put them level on points with Chelsea with a game in hand, but that advantage was wen to waste.
Parlour continued: “I looked at the games against Crystal Palace, Wolves and then Leicester away – four points from nine is all they needed to possibly be in the top four, but how many did they get? None!

“I would put all the eggs in one basket now and go for the Europa League.
“Spurs will definitely be in the top four and you’ve got to fancy Chelsea for the other spot.”
Arsenal’s most recent defeat was a 3-0 demolition at the hands of Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City.
The Spaniard bemoaned his side’s recent form, but blamed the result on the red card shown to Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
