Real Madrid: Zidane hints at club’s interest in signing Pogba
Real Madrid chief Perez managed to persuade Zidane into returning to the Bernabeu last month, with the Frenchman replacing Santiago Solari, who had failed to arrest their slump.
For the time being, the Los Blancos manager appears to have settled on Keylor Navas as his No 1 goalkeeper.
The duo are close and Navas helped Zidane and Real Madrid win the Champions League three years on the spin, lifting the trophy most recently in 2018.
Lingering in the background, often looking frustrated on the substitutes bench, is Thibaut Courtois.

“I said recently that I had the best three, both are there and there is another young man who has a very good future.
“Keylor and Thibaut are very good, I must choose just one of course and that is a complicated thing for me when I have to choose what is better for the team.”
Real are next in action against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday (7.45pm).
Los Blancos won 1-0 when the two teams met earlier in the season, with Karim Benzema scoring the only goal of the game.
