Transfer news: Every Premier League club's best and worst value summer signings
PREMIER LEAGUE clubs often gamble on unknown quantities in the transfer market, but sometimes summer signings work out much better than others.
A new research study has revealed the best and worst value signings made by Premier League clubs in the 2018 summer transfer window.
The data compiled by TheSportsman.com takes into account a range of criteria specific to each position on the pitch, adding up these variables then dividing by a player’s transfer fee.
Manchester United and Liverpool both have players among the top 10 worst value new arrivals across the whole league, but they have also got value for money with other investments.
Meanwhile certain teams only made one permanent signing while Tottenham didn’t make any last summer – but which players are best and worst value at your club?
