But despite all of their contributions towards Liverpool’s two-pronged assault on the title and Champions League, their best piece of business was not an arrival.
The decision to send Harry Wilson out on loan to Derby continues to look like a masterstroke and something they will no doubt reap the benefits from in the future.
The midfielder has notched ten goals in 31 Championship matches this season.
He has also made a name for himself from free-kicks, which have proved a not-so secret weapon for the Rams.

Regardless of what happens during the rest of the season, Liverpool are winners from their handling of Wilson.
His performances with Derby are likely to have captured the attention of other Premier League clubs.
And it would take a hefty fee for them to prise the Welsh intentional away from Anfield.
There is of course a good chance that with an impressive pre-season Wilson will be part of Klopp’s plans next season.
A third scenario that is again positive is that the youngster spends another season on loan with Derby, which will only aid his development.

Klopp has spoke openly and in high praise of Wilson, revealing that he is keeping close tabs on his progress with Derby.
“I’m really happy about what Harry is doing. It’s fantastic. It’s a perfect example for it sometimes being really good to leave home to show up somewhere else,” he told Liverpool’s website.
“I really think Harry left in the right moment. Since I was in everybody told me Harry Wilson needed to go on loan. He scored a lot of goals for the U23s already. He went last year to Hull, he was already good. He came back, pre-season was pre-season, and he went to Derby and now he is with Frank [Lampard].
“It’s really nice the job Frank is doing there, it is outstanding. England has a lot of good young managers, that’s cool.”
