Leeds news: Fans in MELTDOWN after Reading demolition - 'Leeds are next level'
LEEDS fans are in MELTDOWN over their side’s 3-0 win over Reading at the Madejski Stadium tonight.
Rangers: Gerrard says he’s ‘angry’ after home loss to Aberdeen
Goals from Mateusz Klich and a brace from Pablo Hernandez put Leeds to the top of the Championship where they put on 73 points.
Leeds fans were quick to point out the slick passing football of their team as once again Marcelo Bielsa’s side put on a footballing clinic.
It’s now becoming increasingly likely that, with nine games to go this season, Leeds are promoted to the Premier League.
Promotion for Leeds would see them return to the league they crashed out of in 2004.
And naturally, fans of the Yorkshire side couldn’t contain their excitement as Leeds ran rampant in Reading.
One said: “Quick passing, runs off the ball, solid defending, outrageous goals!”
Another went with: “Leeds United play some incredible football, a real joy to watch and hopefully we'll get to see them in the Premier League next year!”
One said: “Leeds are going up and I'm a Man United fan.”
Another tweeted: “LEEDS ARE GOING UP.”
Another agreed, tweeting: “LEEDS ARE GOING UP GOING UP!! LEEDS AFE GOING UP!!”
Someone else went with: “Leeds are next level. #LUFC.”
Another said: “Leeds are going up, aren’t they…”
Another social media user said: “I’m trying so hard to not get gassed over this @LUFC but we may be the best team in the world.”
One noted Hernandez’s performance, writing: “This is Pablo’s Hernandez’s world and we are all just living in it. #LUFC #MOT #ALAW #Leeds.”
And finally, one said: “Stick the kettle on, Premier League, we'll be there around quarter past August.”
