Real Madrid team news vs Real Valladolid: Predicted line up today - Gareth Bale OUT
REAL MADRID face Real Valladolid today in what could be Santiago Solari’s last game as manager.
Solari is under immense pressure and some reports in Spain suggest he could be shown the door on Monday.
It comes with Real Madrid struggling, having been knocked out of the Champions League by Ajax in midweek.
They also sit 15 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona before their game with Valladolid today.
Solari’s options are limited with a number of Los Blancos stars currently out injured.
Marcos Llorente, Vinicius, Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal are all out injured and haven’t made the squad to travel north.
Gareth Bale is another that hasn’t made the journey after injuring his ankle in the 4-1 defeat to Ajax.
The Welshman was hobbling badly towards the end of that loss with the winger having struggled for Real this season.
He was jeered by some Madrid fans after last weekend’s defeat to Barcelona.
And Solari has admitted that some players have not performed to the levels required.
"The majority have delivered as expected, some have not," said Solari.
"I have told them so personally.
"I cannot reveal what has been said in private but I will repeat what I said on my first day here, which is that everyone here is just passing through," he added.
Gareth Bale SHOULD go to Arsenal claims pundit
"The only objective we work towards is the next game.
"I'm always going to give the best of myself, as I have done since the first day I was here. It is an honour to coach Real Madrid."
Real Madrid predicted line-up: Courtois; Odriozola, Nacho, Varane, Marcelo; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Asensio, Benzema, Mariano.
