Real Madrid handed Neymar transfer boost after ex-Barcelona star sends cryptic message
NEYMAR has refused to rule out a transfer to Real Madrid in the future, sparking speculation that a summer move could be on.
The world’s most expensive footballer is now close to completing his second full season with Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite it still only being early days in Paris considering he signed a five-year contract, questions marks over his future remain.
There have been a series of reports claiming that Neymar wants to return to La Liga after becoming unsettled by the weather and lack of competition in France.
Neymar is currently sidelined with a foot injury which has seen him sit out of the Champions League last 16 clashes with Manchester United.
But the Brazilian is working hard to return to Thomas Tuchel’s side to help PSG finish the season strongly on all fronts.
The 27-year-old has refused to rule out a transfer to Real Madrid though, who could weigh up a summer bid as they look to finally replace the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Real Madrid is one of the biggest clubs in the world and any player would want to play there,” he said.
“I’m happy in Paris, I’m really good, but nobody knows the future.

“But I’m not saying I will play for Real Madrid.
“Barcelona was my childhood dream and I made that a reality.”
There has even been talk earlier this year that Neymar has been in contact with those at Barcelona about a return to Catalonia.
But Neymar’s father recently quashed those claims that he’s determined to move back to La Liga.
"It's a lie," he told Telefoot when asked about the rumours.
"There has not been a call to Barcelona.
"There are only two players who speak in Neymar's name: he and I.
"Neither of us have spoken about the possibility of returning to Barcelona."
Neymar Sr also reiterated that his son is more than happy in Paris.
