Chelsea boss Sarri was left reeling when Kepa refused to make way for Caballero in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City at Wembley.
The Spain international refused to leave the pitch after his number came up and, consequently, has faced a global backlash.
Chelsea have fined Kepa, who apologised by saying: “I was very happy to play in my first Cup Final for Chelsea yesterday and very proud of the team performance.
“I have thought a lot more about yesterday’s events.
