Man Utd news: Fans want Anthony Martial replaced against Chelsea with SURPRISE star
MANCHESTER UNITED take on Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round on Monday and have a mini injury crisis on their hands.
Man Utd: Mourinho’s defensive issues ‘still there’ says pundit
Both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard limped off in the 2-0 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
And that means both are doubts to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be left with some tough selection decisions to make as a result of the problems.
And fans have made it clear who they want to see start against Maurizio Sarri’s side on Monday.
In a poll run by the Manchester Evening News, they asked who should replace Martial on the left if he is injured.
It was promising youngster Tahith Chong that came out on top as he received 42 per cent of the vote.
And in bad news for Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford was second with 34 per cent.
That would see Romelu Lukaku likely given the nod up front for the Red Devils and shows just how disappointing the former Arsenal man has been at Old Trafford.
Sanchez came on for Lingard against PSG but had little impact against the French champions.
Chong made his debut against Reading in the FA Cup third round last month and impressed.
He has yet to be given an appearance since, but the voting suggests fans are keen to see more of the 19-year-old.
Manchester United boss Solskjaer will speak to the media tomorrow ahead of the match.

The Norwegian is expected to give an update on the injuries suffered by Martial and Lingard against PSG.
The FA Cup is now the only realistic chance United have of winning silverware this season.
The Red Devils are fighting for a top four place in the Premier League and face an exit from the Champions League barring a miracle performance.
United’s game against Chelsea on Monday kicks off at 7.30pm.
