If City win today I do believe they will be favourites
Jamie Carragher on Man City vs Chelsea
Carragher believes the visit of Chelsea is even more crucial for City because of the number of matches they have played recently.
But he reckons Liverpool can can become favourites again in the next few weeks if their form continues to improve.
“If City win today I do believe they will be favourites,” Carragher said.
“I think this is a big week for City. Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea today.

“Liverpool have got a big week coming in a couple of weeks’ time when they play Man United, Watford and Everton.
“I think if Liverpool get through that week and are maybe still top, then you can speak it about it again as Liverpool being the favourites.
“But there is still a long way to go, lots of points will be won and lost.
“But I think it’s a massive win if City win today because of the tough win they’ve had.”

Carragher reckons City will win if they can perform like they did in the 3-1 victory over Arsenal last weekend.
“I think Man City will win today,” he said.
“I think Jurgen Klopp said a few weeks ago you’d expect City to win every game and I think that’s the mentality of Liverpool. They just have to do their own job.
“But there’s no doubt this is one of City’s biggest games between now and the end of the season where you think there could be a chance they drop points.
“I think if they perform like they did last week against Arsenal, they will have no problem in beating Chelsea today.”
