Transfer news: Every Premier League free agent this summer – Man Utd, Liverpool veterans
MANCHESTER UNITED are hard at work signing up their players on new long-term deals, but a host of stars are still in danger of leaving Old Trafford for free in the summer.
Manchester United have been busy conducting contract negotiations this season, with Anthony Martial, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones all signing new deals at the club.
The United hierarchy are also reportedly in talks to extend Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and David de Gea’s careers at Old Trafford, while manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is another searching for a permanent deal.
The retention of the Red Devils’ star performers could save the club millions in the transfer market next summer, although discussions with Juan Mata and Antonio Valencia are not proving so straight-forward.
United are not the only club who could lose some familiar faces at the end of the season, with Arsenal letting Aaron Ramsey move on to pastures new while Liverpool could wave goodbye to Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno.
Chelsea have a decision to make regarding centre-backs David Luiz and Gary Cahill, while reserve goalkeepers Willy Caballero and Rob Green are also out of contract.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is coming to the end of his deal while fellow Premier League veterans Leighton Baines, Pablo Zabaleta and Wes Morgan are running out of time to sign an extension.
There are several world class stars from elsewhere around Europe who could be available for free in the summer, with Diego Godin, Adrien Rabiot and Arjen Robben all out of contract.
Express Sport has gathered together every single Premier League player believed to be out of contract this summer, while there are also some choice European stars who could be worth snapping up on a free.
