Arsenal: Barcelona signing could lead to Suarez deal says fan
The Spain international has found first-team football hard to come by this season and has spent the majority of the campaign warming the bench.
Suarez’s lack of game time prompted Arsenal manager Unai Emery to inquire about acquiring his services.
It’s understood that Emery has convinced his fellow countryman to swap the Nou Camp for the Emirates and that a loan deal is close to being completed.
Suarez’s exit from the Catalan capital was all but confirmed on Monday night when Barcelona announced the loan signing of former AC Milan and Tottenham midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
And a day removed from Boateng’s arrival, Valverde has conceded that Suarez could very well leave Spanish champions in the coming days.
“We are happy with the squad but there are always possibilities for departures for those who maybe do not feature as often,” the Barca boss told the media on Tuesday.
“Those players could stay here and we would be happy or they could leave in search of more opportunities, we will evaluate all possibilities for them.
“I don't think there will be any more arrivals. It is true – it is possible that Denis will leave but I don't know what will happen. Boateng has come in because Munir [El Haddadi] went out.

“We work internally and there is a lot of planning involved of which I am a part, but we will see how the market progresses.”
Barcelona’s technical director Eric Abidal has also hinted that Suarez - along with several other fringe players - could soon depart the club.
“You never know,” the former Barcelona and France defender said.
“We are always working internally and there are decisions that the coach will make.

“We are happy with the template but there are always possibilities. Players who play little can stay or may ask to leave. All scenarios will be evaluated.”
Should Suarez join Arsenal this month, he will be reunited with Emery - who managed him during a loan spell at Sevilla.
