"If Higuaín made this choice, there must be reasons, but he is a friend and I wish him all the best,” he told Sky in Italy.
Higuain has endured a poor loan spell in Milan, and saw his best days in Italy shared out between Juve and Napoli.
At Napoli he set the scoring record for goals in a single league season with 36, while being coached by Maurizio Sarri.
Now Blues boss, Sarri is said to be the one behind Higuain’s transfer to London, as he’s keen to work with his former hit-man again.

It’s also been reported, though, that the transfer took a lot of convincing with the Chelsea board, as director Marina Granovskaia doesn’t believe that Higuain is the answer to the club’s scoring problems.
The west London side have scored the least of any of the ‘big six’ sides in the Premier League this season, with 40 goals.
Sarri was asked about the potential transfer of Higuain last week, but remained coy on the matter.
"I want to be clear, because I cannot help you [about the transfer market]," Sarri said.

”I spoke with Marina two weeks ago, so Marina knows my opinion on how to improve the team.
"Then I decided to focus on the pitch, on matches and training. I am confident because I know Marina is working very hard, but I don't know the market at all.
"I want to be focused on the matches. So I don't call her every evening, otherwise I spend all my mental energy on the market.
