Juventus to challenge Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe as PSG star hints at exit
JUVENTUS are keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe, according to reports in Italy.
Mbappe showcases his world class skills for Paris Saint Germain
The young Frenchman, 20, has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and admitted he was not sure where his long-term future lies when quizzed on the subject after PSG’s 9-0 win over Guingamp.
While Mbappe insists he is currently happy in France, he admits he is not sure what the future holds.
"I feel really good here, but you never know what can happen in football," he said.
”I have a contract until 2021 and it's not the time to think about other things.”
Italian publication Tuttosport claim that has alerted Juve, who would look to tempt him to Italy if he does become available.
Juventus have already proved they can attract the world’s best players after signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in the summer.
And Mbappe is fast becoming the most in-demand player in the whole of Europe.
Despite his tender years, Mbappe has already won two Ligue 1 titles, the French Cup, the French League Cup and the World Cup.
He was also nominated for last year’s Ballon d’Or and crowned the inaugural winner of the Kopa Trophy - awarded to the best player in Europe under 21.
The youngster is already the world’s second most expensive player - behind PSG team-mate Neymar.
He initially moved to PSG on loan from Monaco at the start of last season but they paid £162million to make the deal permanent at the start of the current campaign.
Mbappe has already started to pay back that whopping fee in style and is the top scorer in Ligue 1 this term with 17 goals in just 14 games.
He bagged a hat-trick in the recent thumping of Guingamp and praised his team-mates for a stunning display after the game.
PSG are running away with the French title once again and are already 13 points clear after 19 matches.
”It was a match with rhythm and intensity," he said.
"We had a very complete performance. This is an important moment of the season and the spirit is different."
