West Ham fans will be LIVID when they hear what Harry Redknapp has heard about Arnautovic
WEST HAM fans will be seething when they hear what Harry Redknapp has said about Marko Arnautovic.
Arnautovic: West Ham ‘should have seen it coming’ says pundit
Manuel Pellegrini has left the striker out of the squad to face Bournemouth after he said he wanted to leave the club.
But former West Ham boss Redknapp has heard that the real story is far more serious.
The I'm A Celebrity king of the jungle has been told Arnautovic has actually REFUSED to travel to play for the club that pay him £100,000-a-week.
"I've read they pulled him out but I heard yesterday that he refused to travel," Redknapp said on BT Sport.
"That's what I heard yesterday.
"How's he going to win trophies in China? It's money, that's why he wasn't to go."
The Hammers had said for days Pellegrini would have the final say on whether Arnautovic, 29, could join Shanghai SIPG this month.
The manager signalled he would have no problem with the wantaway Austrian going, as long as any deal was done as quickly as possible.
But Hammers co- owner David Sullivan, who has rejected the Chinese club's £35million bid, has decided he now does not want to sell in this window.
Sitting alongside Redknapp was Chris Sutton who let rip at the Austrian striker.
"Arnautovic is greedy going to China. He said he wants to win trophies in China, who's he kidding?" he said.
Arnautovic returned to training on Tuesday after two days off along with the rest of the squad.
