Everton transfer news: Marco Silva ready to sanction exit if he can buy Abdoulaye Doucoure
EVERTON are prepared to sell Idrissa Gana Gueye as long as they can secure the signing of Abdoulaye Doucoure, reports in France claim.

Marco Silva again reiterated on Thursday that he will not be able to delve into the January transfer market unless the club can offload some players this month.
“We don’t have the financial conditions to go into the market at the moment, I have to find different solutions,” he said ahead of his side’s trip to Southampton.
“We will only be using the market if we sell one of our players, but that doesn’t mean I am looking to sell to raise funds.”
Paris-Saint Germain are keen on prising Gueye away from Goodison Park with Thomas Tuchel desperate to add a defensive midfielder to his squad.
The Ligue 1 leaders are restricted by Financial Fair Play regulations and therefore do not have as much money to spend as they would like.
Gueye very much remains within their budget and is being targeted alongside Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl.
Tuchel has been forced to exile contract rebel Adrien Rabiot from the first-team set up under instruction from sporting director Paulo Henrique, leaving the German short of options in midfield.
Rabiot, 23, refused to pen a new deal so that he could leave the Parisians on a free transfer which has left the board and supporters furious.
According to France Football, PSG’s pursuit of Senegal international Gueye is currently being blocked by Watford holding on to Doucoure.
Silva is only willing to let Gueye leave should he have a replacement lined up and he is keen on a reunion with PSG’s target and his former player Doucoure.
The Hornets are notoriously tough negotiators, which is what initially put PSG off a potential deal.
They have already received £40million from Everton for the sale of Richarlison last summer.
Javi Gracia is not keen on losing his star man mid-season, let alone to a club who are in a similar position to them in the table and fighting for a Europa League spot.
Doucoure ignited speculation earlier this week when he revealed he does not see his long-term future at Vicarage Road.
“There has not been any contact, Watford have not been contacted by PSG,” he told Canal+.
“It is just things in the press. It is true that PSG’s project interests me, being from a Paris region.
“My aim is play well with Watford and why not join a club playing in the Champions League.”
