MANCHESTER UNITED transfer news is bubbling under the surface as the January window reaches the halfway mark. Express Sport has rounded up the host of transfers that could go through in the next week.
Man Utd: Koulibaly 'best defender that can be signed' says pundit
Manchester United are enjoying a slow-burning January transfer window with the club yet to conclude any first-team business so far.
The Red Devils have enjoyed a terrific resurgence under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, winning all six of his games in charge.
Their form has taken the pressure off landing reinforcements in January though several stars have still be linked with moves – both in and out of the club.
Express Sport has rounded up which Man Utd transfer deals could be finalised in the next week.
IN: David Brooks (from Bournemouth)
United are enjoying a quiet transfer window without a major focus on incoming faces, but one big deal has been touted in The Sun.
Bournemouth ace David Brooks has caught the attention of several elite sides including United and Tottenham.
The tricky midfielder’s price tag could be set around the £40million mark following an impressive start to the season.
IN: Kalidou Koulibaly (from Napoli)
One of the biggest potential transfer stories of 2019 will be towering centre-back Koulibaly.
The Napoli ace has been heavily-tipped to leave Italy following racist abuse from a minority of fans with United ready ton reignite their interest.
The Mirror have tipped United to sign him for roughly £100m though it remains to be seen how quickly a deal can be reached.
OUT: Andreas Pereira (to West Ham)
Brazilian media have reported that youngster Pereira is attracting major attention with his contract to expire in the summer.
UOL Esporte revealed that West Ham are in the running, while Arsenal and Everton could also be options.
Pereira could be sold in January to recoup a fee as opposed to leaving the club as a free agent in July.
Solskjaer is NOT happy with Fellaini’s attitude claims pundit
OUT: Marouane Fellaini (to AC Milan/Fenerbahce)
The Belgian midfielder has endured a rocky time at Old Trafford despite some huge goals.
Fellaini’s role in the team has been diminished following Solskjaer’s appointment and he could be on the way out, according to Jim White on talkSPORT.
AC Milan have been credited with an interest while Fenerbahce were linked earlier in the transfer window.
