Chelsea transfer news: BBC Sport pundit urges Maurizio Sarri to sanction January deal
CHELSEA striker Alvaro Morata is lacking in confidence and really needs to leave the club this month.
Chelsea: Alvaro Morata has 'lost his way' says Hislop
That is the opinion of BBC Sport pundit and former Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
Morata has been much-maligned at Chelsea this season after once again struggling in front of goal.

The 26-year-old has scored just five times in the Premier League and his form has often seen him left out of the side.
Morata did score both goals in Chelsea’s 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
It’s been tough for him, you can see his confidence is low. I think for him he just needs a fresh start
However, he was guilty of missing a glorious chance from close range, although his blushes were saved by the linesman’s flag.
Reo-Coker was working on BBC’s Final Score programme on Saturday afternoon.
He admits it would be the best for Morata to seek pastures new.
And that means Maurizio Sarri should give the nod for him to leave.
And he could not believe the opportunity the Spain international missed.
“He’s finally scored,” Reo-Coker said after Morata's first goal against Forest.
“The miss in the first half, I think it was harder to miss than it was to score.
“Then he’s taken a more difficult chance in this second half.
“It’s been tough for him, you can see his confidence is low.
“I think for him he just needs a fresh start.”
Morata has 24 goals in total for Chelsea in 72 appearances in all competitions.
He has an impressive record for Spain, netting 13 times in 27 caps.
