Mohamed Salah doing THIS shows why Liverpool are better than Man City - Sky Sports pundit
MOHAMED SALAH allowing team-mate Roberto Firmino to complete his hat-trick against Arsenal sets Liverpool apart from title rivals Manchester City.
That is the opinion of Sky Sports pundit and former Chelsea right-back Mario Melchiot.
Salah passed over penalty duty to Firmino in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield.

Salah scored a spot-kick earlier in the game but with Firmino sitting on a brace, he handed the ball to his team-mate to register his first hat-trick for Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the top of the table.
They’re exciting to watch, you see the happiness, just little things that Liverpool does sets them apart
Manchester City returned to winning ways on Sunday with a 3-1 victory at Southampton.
But Melchiot does not see the same happiness and togetherness amongst the squad as there is at Liverpool.
And he says Salah’s act shows exactly that.
“I think they’re supremely confident,” Melchiot said of Liverpool.
“If you look how City came into the game yesterday, it was not the comfort zone that they like to be in.
“Even when Pep was talking after the game and before the game, you could see that he was almost going back to the basics with his team saying ‘hey, we’ve got to build the confidence and momentum again and then think about the next game’.
“When you look at Liverpool, it’s a totally different show.
“They’re exciting to watch, you see the happiness, just little things that Liverpool does sets them apart.
“If you’re willing to give a penalty away to your main striker to score a hat-trick, that is the momentum of your team what Salah did to Firmino.
“Giving him the ball and saying ‘you can score the goal’.
“He could think about his own goal tally but that is the confidence in the team and the togetherness.”
City and Liverpool go head-to-head in a huge clash at the Etihad on Thursday.
