Arsenal legend Ian Wright defends Alexandre Lacazette after ROW with team-mate
ARSENAL legend Ian Wright has defended Alexandre Lacazette for his reaction when substituted in the win against Burnley.
The Gunners ran out 3-1 victors at the Emirates thanks to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang double and an injury time effort from Alex Iwobi.
Ashley Barnes did net for Burnley but the visitors were unable to make much of an impact against Arsenal.
Lacazette was replaced by Iwobi in the 78th minute but didn’t take kindly to being hooked by Unai Emery.

The striker was seen arguing with team-mate Mohamed Elneny as he trudged to the dugout.
Lacazette also threatened to throw his gloves to the ground but opted against that particular act of petulance.
But Wright has defended the former Lyon man for his actions.
He tweeted: “Laca obviously disappointed.
“As a striker you know when there are still goals out there – game is stretched and he wants to score!!!!”
The win for Arsenal leaves them fifth in the Premier League on the tail of Chelsea in fourth.
Mesut Ozil was recalled to the starting line-up by Emery and made captain for the match against Burnley.
Former Arsenal ace Lee Dixon thinks making him the skipper was a but too much though.
“Unai Emery has dealt with Mesut Ozil brilliantly,” Dixon said.
“If Jose Mourinho was looking on after his dealings with Paul Pogba, managers can take a leaf out of his book. He has been understated, not sensational.
“When Ozil is left out Emery said tactically he doesn’t fit in some games and he has also had injuries.
“Someone asked him if Ozil had a future at the club and he just turned it back to the reporter.
“To give him the armband today is a little too much candy. It’s almost going the other way, but otherwise he has dealt with the situation well.”
Next up for Arsenal is an away trip to Brighton on Boxing Day (5.15pm).
