Man United: Solskjaer wants to build team 'around Pogba'
And the Manchester United legend has had his say on their transfer policy already this season!
Manchester United today sacked Jose Mourinho following a torrid start to the season.
United sit 19 points off table-toppers Liverpool.
Much of the drama behind the scenes at United has involved Mourinho and Pogba - and it appeared as though one of the pair would have had to leave the club soon.
Hopefully we can build the team around him and keep him
And while there is still some uncertainty over Pogba’s future at the club, Manchester United fans will be delighted with what Solskjaer had to say about the midfielder earlier this season.
Solskjaer managed Pogba in the United reserves and urged to club to keep the France international when asked back in August.
“I would [build the team around him]. Absolutely no doubt,” Solskjaer - currently manager of Molde - said ahead of a Europa League game with Hibs.
“I had him with David [Gray] and Etzaz [Hussain] who is playing for me [against Hibs].
"That just shows how far the kid has come.
“Paul is a fantastic kid. So hopefully we can build the team around him and keep him."

Solskjaer could be drafted in until the end of the season, at which point United would then move for a permanent boss.
He guided Molde to a second-place finish in Norway’s Eliteserien this year, with the team now breaking for the winter.
The 2019 Eliteserien campaign begins on March 31, 2019 - meaning Solskjaer could feasibly manage United until May and then head back to Norway with minimal disruption.
Zinedine Zidane, Antonio Conte and Laurent Blanc are all out-of-work managers linked with a move to Old Trafford.
But United seem keen to bringing Mauricio Pochettino to the club once the current campaign is out.

Tottenham would hold up a fight if United were to approach their manager.
And United would likely have to pay a big fee to prise the Argentine out of Spurs.
