Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid squad think Juventus star regrets transfer amid controversy
CRISTIANO RONALDO’s comments about Juventus being more of a family than Real Madrid have not sat well with Los Blancos players, according to reports in Spain.
Cristiano Ronaldo scores incredible goal for Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Juventus from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer, bringing his glittering nine-year Bernabeu career to an end.
Since his exit, however, the 33-year-old has been critical of his former club.
Ronaldo had already fired shots at Real Madrid president Florentino Perez before this week, citing the 71-year-old as the reason behind his Bernabeu exit.
And the Portugal international then hit out at Los Blancos again, saying Juventus was ‘more of a family’ to him.
"It isn't right to name someone specific but I can say that this is the best group in which I've played,” he said.
"Here, we are a squad, elsewhere, some players feel bigger than the others. Instead, here, everyone is on the same level, they are humble and want to win.
"If [Paulo] Dybala or [Mario] Mandzukic don't score, they are still happy and you see them smile.
"For me, it is beautiful, to feel that difference. Also at Madrid they are humble, but here I feel that sense more.
"It's very different to Madrid, here it is more of a family."
And Spanish website Ok Diario say Real players are fuming at his latest comments.
It is said they are hurt given how much they did for him during Ronaldo’s time in Spain.
Karim Benzema was among those forced to alter his game for the forward.
And the same could be said for attackers past and present, all of which lived to help Ronaldo achieve his own goals.

And his comments about family are merely his own way of coping with life at the Serie A giants.
