Real Madrid prepare BARGAIN Chelsea transfer as Eden Hazard talks up move
REAL MADRID are only willing to pay £63m for Eden Hazard as the Chelsea ace continues to talk up a move.
Maurizio Sarri: Eden Hazard is a 'good option' at centre forward
The midfield maestro remains a top target for Real.
Los Blancos have been vying for his signature since last season and aren’t ready to give up the chase.
Sensational reports last week suggested Hazard had already agreed terms with the La Liga giants.
And, according to Spanish news outlet OK Diario, Real Madrid are now keen to sign him on the cheap this summer.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants to keep Eden Hazard
Florentino Perez’s ambitious negotiating stance looks set to infuriate Chelsea though.
It’s suggested bigwigs at Stamford Bridge value Hazard at around £150m.
In an interview on Monday with RMC Sport, Hazard again hinted that he is keen on moving to the Spanish capital.
“The new coach [Sarri] thinks football like me, so we'll see, the family is in London, I'm also going to be 28,” he said.
“I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my it's a decision I'm going to make, I do not know when, but I'll take it."
In a huge boost to bargain hunter Perez, Hazard also claimed he has always been a Real fan.
"Me, you know me, I've always loved Real, even before [Zinedine] Zidane, we'll see what happens,” he added.
“As I said, I'm already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we'll see.”
Despite rumours in Spain, Express Sport understands Chelsea are ready to offer Hazard a new £300,000-a-week contract.
Regardless off Hazard’s potential new deal, it’s understood the Blues value their prized asset in excess of £150m.
Chelsea also want Mateo Kovacic - who is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge - on a permanent basis.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri claimed last week that the club are waiting on the forward to pen a new deal.
"I want Eden here, of course," said the former Napoli boss.
"But I want him here if he wants to stay here.
"The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it's up to him if he wants to renew or not.
"I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week, I think.
"So if there is something new, the club will call me immediately."
