Salah then refused to accept the Man of the Match award after the game, instead insisting on James Milner keeping it after playing his 500th game in the Premier League.
“Five hundred games,” Salah said, shaking his head and refusing the award.
“I have to congratulate him for his amazing career.
“He deserves it today. He’s had an amazing career, so I hope we’re going to win something this season together.
“But I will not take it!”

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was very complimentary of his Egypt star after the game, saying: “Mo Salah scores that goal [the second one] and I don't think many do in that situation.
"The third goal was again brilliant. It is really cool and it helps of course!
“We played nice football and the players we brought on did really well.
"The whole game was brilliant from him [Salah] today - not only the goals.
“He wanted to help with runs in behind and him scoring three goals is big for him and very important for us."
