Tyson Fury WATCHING Man Utd vs Arsenal: Secret reason for boxer's appearance REVEALED
TYSON FURY is at Old Trafford tonight to watch Manchester United vs Arsenal.
Tyson Fury: 'I want rematch with Wilder at Old Trafford'
And the heavyweight boxer will not just be watching the game this evening.
Fury is looking for a venue to stage a potential rematch between himself and Deontay Wilder next year.
Fury controversially drew with Wilder in the United States over the weekend.
He was dropped twice but arguably won the fight - only for the judges to give it as a draw.
A rematch is not guaranteed but Wilder has indicated he would be happy to go toe-to-toe again with Fury in the UK.
And Tyson Fury is reportedly eyeing that 75,000-seater Old Trafford as a viable venue.
Unfortunately for Fury, United themselves appear unwilling to stage the contest.
It is understood they have no plans as yet to host the heavyweight rumble between two of the hardest punchers on the planet.
Promoter Frank Warren said: “I’d love the rematch. I’d love to see it in the UK. We’d fill a football stadium up, Wembley, Arsenal, any of those big stadiums.”
Warren was discussing a possible venue after the fight in Los Angeles, when Fury butted in and said: “Old Trafford! Come on Frank!”
He is at Old Trafford for tonight’s Premier League clash as United try and make up ground on the top four.
The are eight points behind fourth-place Arsenal heading into the clash.
Fury last made a public appearance at Old Trafford in September 2013.
Fury was interviewed on the Old Trafford pitch at half time and was asked if he feels any sense of injustice from the Wilder decision.
“Of course but I’m not going to go on about it for ever,” he said.
“Life goes on. I got robbed blind in America, the world knows it, but we go on. Continue to the next fight.”
Asked if the next fight could be in Manchester, Fury said: “Frank Warren said Arsenal, I said ‘no, let’s have it at Old Trafford!’.
“Hopefully we can have it here in the summer.”
United have endured a mixed season to date and Fury was asked how they can turn their fortunes around.
“They have been on the ropes but we need a win,” he said.
“We need a win here to get us back off the ropes. Land a good right hand and we’ll be doing alright!”
Asked if he would take a draw against Arsenal, Fury joked: “No I wouldn’t. I don’t like draws. I really like wins.”
