Pochettino says Spurs are 'happy' after beating Chelsea
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will face a gruelling match today as the two fierce rivals go head to head, with the race for top four heating up. Spurs head to Arsenal for the game, after winning 3-1 over Chelsea last week and a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League. Arsenal also is coming off the back of a win, beating Bournemouth 2-1 last week.
Speaking on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast on talkSPORT before the crunch tie, former Tottenham defender Michael Dawson said he believes Spurs have overtaken Arsenal as the top dogs of North London.
“I think you look at how Spurs are playing at the moment, beating Chelsea last week.
“They were so comfortable. They’re a team that teams are scared of playing.
“I believe now that Spurs are the bigger club in North London.”
Arsenal will be keen on reassuming their dominance in front of their home crowd.
And it seems history may be on their side as Spurs have only ever won away twice.
According to a Super Computer, however, the Gunners will draw 1-1 with Spurs
But with Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen back from injury for Spurs, the result is anyone’s game.
