Real Madrid team news vs Valencia: Predicted line up – Isco left out, midfield injuries
REAL MADRID manager Santiago Solari has several injury issues to contend with ahead of Los Blancos' La Liga clash with Valencia on Saturday (7.45pm).
Real Madrid are looking to get back to winning ways in La Liga this weekend when they host Valencia at the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at the hands of Eibar last time out in the league, although Santiago Solari’s side bounced back with a 2-0 Champions League victory over Roma in midweek.
Solari will hope his players build on that performance when they welcome Marcelino’s team to Madrid, with Valencia currently struggling down in 11th.
Real are only sixth after a woeful start to the campaign under Julen Lopetegui, six points off the pace of leaders Sevilla after five defeats from their opening 13 matches.
The European champions remain without Casemiro for the upcoming clash as the Brazilian continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Marcos Llorente deputised for the holding midfielder against Roma and is expected to continue in that role alongside Toni Kroos and Luca Modric.
Meanwhile, Alvaro Odriozola is available again after being withdrawn during the loss to Eibar.
The young right-back has been passed fit to play and returned to training on Thursday, although Dani Carvajal is expected to get the nod.
Sergio Reguilon was also back in action of injury problems of his own but will have to be content with a place on the bench behind Marcelo.
Nacho remains sidelined so Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos will continue in central defence, protecting Thibaut Courtois in goal.
Elsewhere, Isco is reportedly unsettled at the Bernabeu and has fallen out with Solari as rumours of a January move gather pace.
The Spanish international pulled out of training on Wednesday but was back at work the following day, although it remains to be seen whether Solari opts to field the wantaway star.
