Jadon Sancho asked about transfer after Man Utd and Arsenal links - here's what he said
JADON SANCHO has been asked about a potential transfer following his rapid rise.
Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017 but has really broken through this season, earning rave reviews and an England cap.
Sancho has been in great form in Germany, notching four goals and six assists in 10 appearances.
The 18-year-old has been so impressive there is already talk of another transfer and he has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG.
But, when asked about his future, Sancho insists he is happy where he is.
"I'm not wasting any thoughts on a change,” he told BILD.
“I owe a lot to BVB and I have a lot in mind with this team. I'm happy here and did not sign for so long for nothing.
"I know myself that I can still do a lot of things to improve and learn, but it's going well and it's incredibly fun to be part of team that’s so hot.
“We are not yet at the end of our development."
Sancho signed a new deal at Dortmund in October, keeping him tied to the club until 2022.
“I’m so happy that I chose to come to Dortmund a year ago,” said Sancho in a statement at the time.
“Everything I was hoping for has come true: this city loves football like no other, and at BVB young players get regular playing time.
“I can really make outstanding progress here. I’m happy, delighted and proud to be part of this team. We’re building something amazing.”
Sancho is back in the England squad for the games against the USA and Croatia next week and will be looking to add to the cap he picked up last month.
