Chelsea: Eden Hazard asked if he can score 40 goals this season
Premier League top scorers are lighting up the league in 2018/19 with five stars racking up at least six goals so far during the campaign.
Eden Hazard has been near-unstoppable for Chelsea, but Arsenal ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has powered his way to the top after another goal at the weekend.
Surprisingly, Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane fall short of the top five after sluggish form – by their high standards – to start the season.
However, the star duo have clicked into gear in recent weeks and will be hoping to climb their way up among the other elite stars.
Take a look below to reveal the five Premier League top scorers leading the way in the Golden Boot race.
5. Sadio Mane (Liverpool) – 6 goals
The Reds have put teams to the sword this season. Mane has grabbed an early lead over Mohamed Salah.
4. Glenn Murray (Brighton) – 6 goals
Chris Hughton will be delighted with veteran striker Murray who has contributed a terrific goal tally so far.
3. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – 6 goals
Three of Aguero’s strikes came against Huddersfield. He will be hoping to find some consistency in the coming weeks.
2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) – 7 goals
The Gunners’ main man fired blanks at the start but he has quietly gone about launching himself into the mix.
1. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) – 7 goals
The Chelsea hero has been the Premier League player of the season so far and will be desperate to maintain his red-hot form.
