Arsenal news: Sky Sports pundit makes Unai Emery claim after Leicester win
ARSENAL boss Unai Emery has got the Gunners playing quicker football giving them a ‘different’ dimension.
Andy Gray: There's a 'fizz' about Arsenal after Leicester win
That’s the view of Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness who saw the Gunners beat Leicester 3-1 on Monday night.
Arsenal had gone 1-0 down after Hector Bellerin’s own goal but bounced back from Mesut Ozil’s neat finish.
The German was then instrumental as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed a quick brace after being introduced from the substitute bench.
It was Arsenal’s tenth win in a row in all competitions and comes in Emery’s first season as manager.
The Spaniard replaced Arsene Wenger during the summer though some of the Gunners’ play at the Emirates on Monday reminded fans of the Frenchman.
But Souness believes Arsenal look a different force compared to under Wenger.
"Arsenal were fabulous with their slick passing,” Souness said on Monday Night Football.
“The front players at times were sensational.
“The movement is quicker under this manager.
“That one-touch, two-touch in the attacking third is opening doors for them.
“I think we've got a different Arsenal now."
Despite the Premier League win over Leicester, Emery wants more control from his players.
Arsenal: Unai Emery demands more after defeating Leicester
He said: “Different halves, every match is difficult. First half we didn't control the match with possession and positioning.
"We are happy because we are progressing. We need to play with organisation but also with heart.
"We are beginning to play with heart.
"When you continue to improve your demands are very high. We need to control the matches more than we are doing now.
“First half we didn't play well but then we played with quality and heart. This feeling together is very good.”
