Man Utd news: January transfer EXCLUSIVE, Mourinho annoyed with Pogba, Chelsea injury blow
MANCHESTER UNITED news - Express Sport is on hand to bring you all the latest rumours and gossip coming out of Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho backed to spend
Manchester United will make more signings in January, Wes Brown says.
“I don’t think United need to improve much but they need to sort out the defence,” Brown exclusively told Express Sport.
“I like having the two same centre-backs all of the time. Maybe that’s what the manager is trying to sort out at the moment.
“The signings are going to come and go – there are going to be more signings in January. And there’ll be more again in the summer. That’s football, that’s what happens.”
Jose Mourinho annoyed with Paul Pogba
Jose Mourinho is frustrated with Manchester United ace Paul Pogba.
The Evening Standard say Mourinho has tried everything to get the most out of his underperforming midfielder.
However, the Special One has become frustrated after Pogba has failed to shine at Old Trafford.
Pogba has failed to impress following his £89m return to Old Trafford back in 2016.
Marouane Fellaini injury
Marouane Fellaini could miss Saturday’s trip to Chelsea.
The Sun say Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is sweating over the fitness of Fellaini.
The Belgium international limped out of training yesterday with an ankle problem.
Fellaini, 30, pulled up during the session, much to the concern of Mourinho.
The midfielder was seen shaking his head, potentially proving the severity of his injury.
