Manchester United boss Mourinho signed Pogba from Juventus two years ago, convincing the club to pay a huge £89million to sign the France international.
However, their relationship has deteriorated in 2018, with both heavyweights failing to see eye to eye.
Pogba is eager to swap Manchester United for Barcelona, despite seeing a move to the Nou Camp fail to materialise during the summer window.
Mourinho, though, wants the player to stay and prove he can become a club legend at Old Trafford.

And Andreas Pereira has now revealed that it stemmed from the Red Devils boss believing Pogba had posted an Instagram post laughing AFTER the club’s Carabao Cup exit to Derby.
"It was in a cup game. Pogba posted the video before and there was me and left-back Luke Shaw laughing," Pereira told UOL.
"We were winning the game 1-0 at the time of the video. Then we lost the game, and people said that Pogba posted later. But he posted before.
"The manager thought that Pogba had posted later. He asked him why that happened. There was a mood about it."
