Reiss Nelson goal: Did you see Arsenal gem STUN Scotland U21 with England U21 free-kick?
REISS NELSON broke the deadlock for England U21s vs Scotland U21s tonight with a long-range stunner.
Nelson’s strike on the hour mark put England in front in emphatic fashion.
England and Scotland were locked at 0-0 at Tynecastle when Nelson stepped up to take a free-kick 30 yards out.
And the Arsenal youngster - currently on loan at Hoffenheim - clobbered his swerving shot into the top corner.
England had already qualified for Euro 2019 next summer but had a number of chances to take the lead before Nelson’s effort.
And Arsenal fans were quick to praise the youngster for his strike.
“That boy Reiss Nelson, he scores when he wants,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
Another put: “I don't care what anyone says but Reiss Nelson is good enough to start for Arsenal”
A third wrote: “If Reiss Nelson is able to sustain the level of goalscoring at the top level, good lord we have a potential superstar wide player.”
And a fourth added: “Ill say it again, reiss nelson is right up there with foden/sancho and the likes, unbelievable talent”
Earlier this month Nelson admitted he may look to return to Arsenal from his loan spell soon.
"Arsenal is my boyhood club, they’re a big part of my life," he said.
"At the end of the day I’m at an age where I want to play football and Hoffenheim is where that [chance] was.
"I had to get up and be strong, be independent and take my chance in Germany.
"I’m just here to play my football in Germany.
"Hopefully I’ll come back in a couple of months – if it’s a year so be it – ready to play in Arsenal’s first team."
