Chelsea can take on Liverpool and Man City says Craig Burley
Christensen, an academy graduate, spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach before returning to Chelsea for the start of the 2017/18 campaign.
And the Dane was a favourite under Antonio Conte but following the Italian’s exit, Maurizio Sarri has restored Luiz to the line-up and it has proved to be a good decision with the Blues conceding just five goals this season.
But the lack of starts for Christensen has left him frustrated.
And speaking in an interview with Danish publication BT, the 22-year-old admitted he may have to consider his future if his situation doesn't improve.
“Right now, it’s not a good season for me, but I have to find some way to get back on," he said.
“How? I do not know, but it’s up to me to figure that out.
“But right now it looks hard. We have good results and we play super football, which only makes it harder.
“It’s hard for me personally, but for the team it looks great.

“I cannot show so much patience again. I’m 22 years old and I really want to play.
“In the last three seasons I’ve played a big role for the teams I have been with, so it’s clear that I cannot see myself staying if my current situation continues in the future.
“It’s too early to talk about change for now, and when that might happen, but it’s clear that this is not a good situation for me.”
Christensen’s comments are similar to those made by Gary Cahill last month, who admitted he could leave Stamford Bridge to play regular football.

"I realise sometimes football doesn't wait for people," he said.
“Sometimes you have to make those decisions to keep going and progressing.
"Obviously the most important thing is the club, but I have to look at my situation.
"And if I'm sat doing what I'm doing at this moment in time, I just hope that the club will respect that when it comes to the time."
