Fantasy Premier League tips: Biggest transfer ins and outs ahead of FPL GW8
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE managers have been frantically buying and selling in the transfer market ahead of GW8.
Fantasy Premier League bosses are busy organising their squads ahead of the weekend, with a number of premium players in high demand.
Managers are flooding to sign up Harry Kane after the Tottenham striker bagged a double against Huddersfield, with many gaffers opting for a straight swap in place of Sergio Aguero.
Kane’s team-mate Kieran Trippier is also proving a popular target with Christian Eriksen’s injury problems increasing the likelihood of the right-back taking set-pieces.
Marko Arnautovic is attracting investment once again following an impressive display against Manchester United, but bosses are abandoning Paul Pogba as his feud with Jose Mourinho continues.
Benjamin Mendy is still an doubt and plenty of gaffers are choosing to sell and free up funds, while Liverpool are also out of fashion in the FPL community.
Both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are among the top five most sold players ahead of a trip to Manchester City in GW8.
Salah has only scored three goals so far this campaign and was substituted early during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Mane has failed to deliver attacking returns in his last three gameweeks – but who is being signed as his replacement?
Express Sport has rounded up the most transferred in and out players ahead of GW8:
OUT – 5. Paul Pogba (Manchester United): 76,059
Currently at loggerheads with Mourinho and was substituted early during the defeat to West Ham.
OUT – 4. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City): 76,508
Struck just minutes before being hauled off last time out, but many managers are opting for Kane instead.
OUT – 3. Sadio Mane (Liverpool): 108,204
Three gameweeks without a goal or assist has seen Mane's popularity dip.
OUT – 2. Benjamin Mendy (Manchester City): 145,698
Still sidelined for an unknown period, with many bosses finally biting the bullet and freeing up funds to use elsewhere.
OUT – 1. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): 194,515
Struggling to match the heights of last season with just three goals so far.
The Egyptian was substituted early against Chelsea with Liverpool chasing a goal, which isn't good news for FPL fans going forward.
IN – 5. Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur): 135,980
Christian Eriksen's fitness problems have made Trippier an attractive prospect with the full-back likely to take over set-piece duty.
IN – 4. Marko Arnautovic (West Ham United): 138,829
A goal against United has put Arnautovic back on the FPL radar with Brighton next in the firing line.
IN – 3. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur): 165,266
Two goals last time out against the Seagulls takes him onto five for the campaign as the England captain begins to move through the gears.
IN – 2. James Maddison (Leicester City): 170,406
The Leicester midfielder is proving an attractive mid-range target with the Foxes set for an inviting run of fixtures.
Jamie Vardy's return to form will also help boost Maddison's assist chances.
IN – 1. Eden Hazard (Chelsea): 258,306
The Chelsea forward is in a superb vein of form with five goals in his last five Premier League matches.
Hazard is seen as a direct replacement for Salah with Southampotn, Burnley and Crystal Palace among his next four matches.
