That’s the opinion of BBC 5Live Sport pundit Chris Sutton.
After slumping to a 3-1 defeat to West Ham, Manchester United have suffered their worst start to a campaign in 29 years.
Saturday’s defeat to the Hammers means United have failed to win any of their past three games in all competitions.
Mourinho’s future at Old Trafford remains increasingly under threat as a result of United’s poor form and his troublesome relationship with star midfielder Paul Pogba.
And ahead of United’s Champions League clash with Valencia tomorrow, Mourinho added fuel to the fire once again with his comments over some of his players.
“Every player is different, no player is the same," he said. "I see different actions but what you see is not really inside.
“I see upset people, some people that don't look like they lost a game.
“I see so-so but in the little two sessions of training we had [since Saturday] everything was normal, desire to work and play.
“What I can do to improve things I do, and I will improve the things that depend on me and my work.”
And Sutton believes Mourinho now wants to be sacked from United.
“Why is he carrying it on today after a dreadful weekend, you know, the club in turmoil and then to come out today and guess what? More uncertainty,” Sutton said on BBC 5Live Sport.

“[He’s] adding fuel to the fire and everybody’s readying into it.
“It’s time for Mourinho to go and when I said does he want the sack I suspect that he does in many respects.
“He’s an intelligent guy, why would he want to keep carrying it on and and on by coming out and being provactive which is what it is.”
