Premier League latest news
Jose Mourinho revealed some of his Manchester United side looked upset after the West Ham defeat, but others did not "look like they lost a game" - a point he was pushed on and attempted to explain.
He said: "It's like, sometimes what it looks (like) is exactly the opposite, if you understand what I am saying?
"You can be laughing and be the saddest person in the world and you can be with a very sad face and you can be a fantastic actor and inside of you, you are very happy, so sometimes what you see is not what you get."
Pushed further on the squad's attitude, Mourinho added: "I think that some care more than others."
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said his side had to battle hard for their home victory over Crystal Palace.
He told Sky Sports: "It was a difficult second half for us. I thought Crystal Palace played very well.
"It's a massive win for us. They've got some very good players. It was all hands to the pump to keep them out."
Howe added: "The fitness levels of the players are second to none, they're a very dedicated group. It does enable us to stay in games. It was a case of going for three points."
