Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho SLAMS Manchester United players in Derby programme notes
JOSE MOURINHO has slammed his own players in his programme notes ahead of Manchester United’s Carabao Cup clash with Derby.
Jose Mourinho: We have to do better in midfield
United were held at home by Wolves on Saturday in the Premier League, halting an improved run of results.
Fred scored his first goal for the club before Joao Moutinho equalised with a superb curling finish from the edge of the area.

If it wasn’t for David de Gea, the hosts may have come away with nothing from the match.
Speaking in his programme notes ahead of the clash with Derby, Mourinho took aim at an unnamed section of his squad.
“An important lesson, a lesson I repeat week after week after week, a lesson some boys are not learning, every team that play Man Utd are playing the game of their lives,” Mourinho wrote, referencing the draw with Wolves.
“We need to match that of aggression, motivation and desire. 95% isn't enough."
The criticism comes after Paul Pogba blamed the draw on Mourinho’s defensive tactics.
"We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves,” Pogba said.
“When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack.
“I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake.
“Maybe the attitude should be better and we should play better because, again, we are at Old Trafford and we should just attack and press like we did against Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season.
“When we play like this it’s easier for us.”
'Other players must be sick of Pogba' says Vinnie Jones
Mourinho appeared frustrated with Pogba after he lost possession in midfield for the Wolves equaliser.
He is expected to make changes to his side tonight against Championship side Derby.
The tie will see him reunite with former player Frank Lampard, with the pair having enjoyed lots of success together at Chelsea.
The match kicks off at 8.00pm tonight.
