Fantasy Premier League tips: In-form FPL players you need for GW7 – Hazard and Lacazette
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE managers need to be on the lookout for in-form stars if they are to make the most of a tempting set of fixtures in GW7.
Fantasy Premier League managers will be left rueing a resolute West Ham defence after Eden Hazard and his Chelsea team-mates fired blanks at the weekend.
The Belgian star was the top in-form FPL player ahead of GW6 and is still top of the pile, despite failing to register an attacking return against the Hammers.
Hazard’s hat-trick two weeks ago against Cardiff means he is still one of the most in-form players bosses need, but there are several stars getting close to overhauling the Blues ace.
Aleksandar Mitrovic bagged his fifth goal of the campaign as Fulham took a point off Watford at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazette has fired his way into Unai Emery’s plans with another goal against Everton and Raheem Sterling is also putting together a string of consistent performances.
Manchester City’s clean sheet in their demolition of Cardiff has seen Kyle Walker’s stock rise alongside free-scoring Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso.
Elsewhere, Lucas Moura and Ryan Fraser are still riding high on the back of strong early showings for Tottenham and Bournemouth respectively.
There is also room for marauding Wolves defender Matt Doherty among the top 10 in-form stars, but who will get the most points next weekend?
MID – Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth): 6.0 form
Bournemouth suffered a major blip with a thumping defeat to Burnley, but the Cherriers are at home to Crystal Palace on Monday and should bounce back.
MID – Lucas Moura (Tottenham Hotspur): 6.3 form
The Brazilian has been Spurs’ stand-out player so far this season, although he didn’t provide any attacking points as Mauricio Pochettino’s men edged out Brighton.
FWD – Sergio Aguero (Manchester City): 6.3 form
Another game, another goal for Aguero as the Argentinian hit the target against Cardiff.
DEF – Matt Doherty (Wolverhampton Wanderers): 6.7 form
Doherty is turning into a viable FPL option with Wolves’ adventurous formation playing to his strengths.
A home match against Southampton is up next.
DEF – Marcos Alonso (Chelsea): 7.0 form
Alonso has been on fire so far this season and added another clean sheet against West Ham to his bundle of goals and assists.
DEF – Kyle Walker (Manchester City): 7.3 form
Manchester City picked up a welcome clean sheet against Cardiff to keep Walker’s overall form rating high.
FWD – Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal): 7.3 form
The Frenchman is proving a lethal option for Unai Emery and Arsenal with the Gunners now prepared to field both Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the same side.
FWD – Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham): 7.8 form
The Serbian striker notched his fifth goal of the season against Watford and could bag another when Fulham travel to Everton.
MID – Raheem Sterling (Manchester City): 8.0 form
Sterling missed out on the goalscoring feast against Cardiff, managing just one assist in the 5-0 victory.
However, his points fail to reflect his contribution and the England winger is in line for a big return.
MID – Eden Hazard (Chelsea): 10.5 form
Still top of the pile in the form books despite a blank against West Ham, mainly due to his superb hat-trick against Cardiff.
