The first few weeks of new Premier League campaigns can be a tricky time to judge whether players' big points totals are down to form or class.
With five games in the bag, it's becoming easier to spot the best value players who can produce over the course of a season rather than in short bursts.
Bournemouth and Wolves boast a pair of rising bargain stars, while Chelsea and Liverpool offer more expensive options who are producing such good form, they rank among the top 10 value players based on points per million.
Express Sport has rounded up the best Fantasy Premier League players based on how many points they have racked up per million of their price tag.
10. Alex McCarthy (Southampton – GKP): £4.5m – 5.1 points per million
The Saints’ defence has been patchy, but McCarthy could develop into a top bargain option over the course of the season.
9. Shane Duffy (Brighton – DEF): £4.5m – 5.1 points per million
The defender is yet to pick up a clean sheet, but he’s scored twice and grabbed an assist. If Brighton shore up, he will be a great choice.

Former England No 1 Hart is rebuilding his reputation after a tricky couple of seasons. He has been a highlight in Burnley’s bleak start.

Liverpool have looked solid at the back this season and the Scotland international is always likely to create chances.

The towering centre-back is enjoying Premier League life with two back-to-back clean sheets preceded by a goal against Manchester City
5. Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace – GKP): £4.5m – 6.0 points per million
Roy Hodgson has turned Palace into an awkward team to play, with Hennessey recording two clean sheets in five games.

The most expensive defender in FPL is also still ranked as a bargain. He couldn’t build his total greatly in GW5, but he will continue to flourish.

Managers around the world will be snapping up the Cherries’ midfield star before GW6 after an 18pt haul versus Leicester.
2. Neil Etheridge (Cardiff – GKP): £4.6m – 7.0 points per million
He’s still being propped up by a pair of penalty saves at the start of the season, but Etheridge is picking up save points too.
1. Jose Holebas (Watford – DEF): £4.8m – 7.1 points per million
The Hornets were toppled by Manchester United but Holebas still looks like a great value star with favourable fixtures coming up.
